Dear Colleague:

We would like to invite potential users of the future ARIEL radioactive
beam facility to present their ideas for experiments and for the tools
needed to achieve them at the ARIEL Science Workshop 2015 (ASW15) to be
held on July 8 and 9, 2015, as part of TRIUMF Science Week
(http://www.triumf.ca/science-week-2015).

The scope of this fourth ARIEL Science Workshop is: to inform the
international scientific community of the capabilities of ARIEL and
ISAC; to highlight technical progress made on various aspects of the
project; to identify unique and world-leading scientific goals enabled
by ARIEL and ISAC; and to identify facility upgrades needed to reach
those goals. Special attention will be paid to experiments using fission
products from ARIEL, experimental techniques, and upgrades to
experimental end stations.

Six invited speakers have agreed to present various facets of the
anticipated experimental program at ARIEL. At this time we are inviting
the users' community to become involved by contributing their scientific
plans in context of the beams that ARIEL will deliver. These
contributions and the discussions generated by them are anticipated to
encourage the various members of the community to work together to
perform the best experiments with the best experimental apparatus at ARIEL.

If you are interested in participating and presenting your ideas at the
workshop, please prepare a short abstract and send it to
hackman at triumf.ca. We will review abstracts as they come in and we will
endeavour to advise speakers whether or not their contribution has been
accepted for a presentation within two weeks of submission. Early
abstracts will receive preferential treatment.

We hope to see you at TRIUMF in July!

Sincerely.
