Dear TRIUMF Users and Visitors,

As TRIUMF progresses through the various stages of its Return to Site plan, please familiarize yourselves with the latest updates to the guidelines which can be found here<https://www.triumf.ca/COVID-19%20RESOURCES>, in particular recent changes to the mask protocols.

The notice below is intended for those visitors who wish to come to the TRIUMF site while COVID-19 restrictions are in place, but who have not yet completed the Return to Site Orientation<https://learning.triumf.ca/#/online-courses/0f29b87b-9b8c-444b-a828-37b0fef64712>. Visitors who have completed the orientation, or who have 'Electronic only" access privileges, can safely ignore this message.

In the coming weeks TRIUMF will be entering the first parts of its Phase 3<https://www.triumf.ca/sites/default/files/TRIUMF-RRU-02062020_21.png> ('Phase 3a') of its Return to Site plan<https://www.triumf.ca/node/35969/>, highlighted by the return of some users from across Canada and abroad. As part of the COVID-19 safety measures implemented by the TRIUMF COVID Task Force, all visitors (and staff) to the lab will be required to complete the Return to Site (RTS) Orientation (found at this link<https://learning.triumf.ca/#/online-courses/0f29b87b-9b8c-444b-a828-37b0fef64712>) before being permitted to access the TRIUMF site, including the Main Office Building.

Many thanks to those of you who have already completed the Orientation. Those visitors who have not yet completed the training and are planning to travel to TRIUMF in the coming months are asked to complete the training by Friday August 7. Effective Monday August 10, access cards will be disabled for all visitors who have not yet completed the RTS Orientation. This protocol has been established to ensure that visitors with active access cards do not inadvertently enter the site without the required RTS training. Visitors who complete the orientation after the deadline must present themselves at TRIUMF reception upon arrival, where their access cards will be reactivated.

Other guidelines governing Phase 3 of the Return to Site plan for visitors will be communicated in the coming days, including requirements for pre-approval of travel to TRIUMF, and new on-site safety protocols.

We look forward to welcoming you to TRIUMF and working with you to make Phase 3 of the Return to Site plan a success.

If you have any questions or concerns about these measures, please do not hesitate to contact me at your convenience.

Best wishes,
Marcello Pavan
