Dear TRIUMF Users/Experimenters,

Please note that there will be a Subatomic Physics Experiments
Evaluation Committee (SAP-EEC) meeting on December 12 & 13,
2011 (Monday & Tuesday). No new proposal submissions will be
accepted and there will not be any presentations to the EEC this
time around. However, we are calling for the submission of status
reports for all deferred proposals, pending (stage 1) proposals,
and stage 2 proposals that have not been run in last 24 months.

The reason for this extraordinary EEC meeting is a major change to
the SAP-EEC process. A major change to the system is the
use of Letters of Intent (LOIs) and the removal of the stage
1/stage 2 for Proposals. The
details of this change are described in the attached memo.

It is of particular importance that all ISAC experimenters read
the attached memo in full since it also includes important
information on RIB beam development plans.

Please use the online experiment management system to submit your
status report and use the attached template for the detailed
statement of this status report.
