Dear Users and Experimenters,

TRIUMF has implemented a dosimetry sign out/sign in system online.
In order to sign out a pencil dosimeter (DRD), you will need a
TRIUMF ID (aka a secure access ID, which is used to sign into the
Spokespersons' Portal to submit proposals/progress reports).

You can sign up for a TRIUMF ID online at https://mis.triumf.ca/identity/request/nonemployee.jsf.
Please indicate that you are an experimenter.

If you do not have a TRIUMF ID and need a pencil dosimeter, you will
need to sign up for one (and be approved) before you will be allowed
a pencil dosimeter. To save time when you get to TRIUMF, please sign
up for a TRIUMF ID well before you arrive.

We would also like to remind you of a few other important things
that will save you time when you arrive at TRIUMF.

ONLINE SAFETY ORIENTATION
Before you will be allowed an access card, you need to take the
recently updated (November 2014) online safety orientation video.
The video can be found online at http://www.triumf.ca/home/for-scientific-visitors/your-visit
under the "Safety & Training" section.

ACCESS TO TRIUMF
Before your access card will be activated, you will need to let Jill
Seeley know that you are arriving. Please email Jill your visitor
forms at visitorsoffice@triumf.ca. Please visit http://www.triumf.ca/home/for-scientific-visitors/your-visit
under the "Security Access Cards" for the forms that need to be
filled out and sent to Jill. Note that even if you are a long-time,
continually visiting experimenter, you need to let Jill know when
you arrive and depart so she can activate your badge.

RADIATION BADGE
Before you will be allowed a radiation badge, you will need to fill
out the form for a radiation badge. Please visit http://www.triumf.ca/home/for-scientific-visitors/your-visit
under the "Applying for a Radiation Badge" section for the form that
needs to be filled out.

A reminder that there is a website for visitor procedures. It can be
found at http://www.triumf.ca/home/for-scientific-visitors.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

All the best,
