<p class="MsoPlainText"><span lang="EN-CA">The year 2018 marks the 50th anniversary of TRIUMF : a milestone in the history of science in Canada. Since our founding in 1968, TRIUMF has pushed the frontiers of science and made countless contributions to some
of the biggest quests for understanding, both at home, and abroad. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoPlainText"><span lang="EN-CA">From July 16-19 at Science Week 2018, we'll be honouring the last 5 decades of science and discovery at TRIUMF – and we invite you to celebrate this milestone with us as we look ahead with excitement to what awaits
us in the next 50 years and beyond. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoPlainText"><span lang="EN-CA">This year's Science Week will feature an alumni event hosted by the TRIUMF Alumni and Retiree Association (TARA), and a special 50th Anniversary Science Symposium that highlights various achievements from our past
and the ongoing projects that are leading TRIUMF into the next era of discovery.
