higher reliability for TM4 in this and the upcoming schedule. This requires that repairs begin now, and is estimated to require a few weeks, which unfortunately will lead to changes in the current schedule.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA">In discussion with the Accelerator Division, we concluded that the best path forward to maintain scientific output is to therefore continue running with the current target module, TM2 with a Tantalum target, until the
morning of Friday, August 9th. We will then interrupt operation to change the target on TM2, and begin startup shifts with ZrC on August 18th. This will affect a number of experiments and we will be reaching out to those spokespersons
directly. The accelerator division is hopeful that following the ZrC target, TM4 will be repaired and allow operation with UCx in TM4 as per the regular schedule.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
