Dear Colleagues,

The SLAC Geant4 team will conduct a four day hands-on
course based on the newly released Geant4 version 10.0
at the Jen-Hsun Huang Engineering Center at Stanford
University, California on March 3rd-6th, 2014. It will
cover all the application domains including high energy
and nuclear physics, astrophysics and space engineering,
medical applications and newly arising material science.
The lectures will cover all aspects of the toolkit of
Geant4 version 10.0 from basic installation through
advanced topics including multi-threading, and will be
interspersed with hands-on sessions that build a
progressively more complex application extensible to
real use. In addition, taking advantage of the location,
we plan to invite a few guest lecturers from nearby
Silicon Valley companies to introduce us to their
cutting-edge technologies.

The registration fee is $200 and covers the lecture
room equipment as well as refreshments. The capacity is
limited to 80 on a first-come-first-served basis. We
will commence registration as soon as the registration
web page is ready, with additional announcement through
this mailing list. The registration form will also be
linked at this URL:

Kind regards,
Makoto Asai
On behalf of the SLAC Geant4 team
