Hi all,
This is your weekly reminder of the GAPS coffee hour at 4:30 in the ISAC
breakroom.

*Upcoming GAPS events:*

   - *Postdoc Lecture Series*: Nuclear Spectroscopy, with Mike Bowry and
   Jack Henderson - lectures continue on Tuesdays at 2:30.
   - *Postdoc Lecture Series*: Cosmology, with Jonathan Kozaczuk - Next
   lecture Thursday at 2pm in the MOB Theory room. Course website

   - *Astronomy Night*: Jointly held with the UBC Astronomy club. August 27
   at 7:00pm  at English Bay Park. A facebook page the event has been set up

   - *NSERC Info Session*: Thursday September 1 at 9:00. NSERC staff will
   give a presentation on how to prepare a scholarship or fellowship
   application.
   - *Three Minute Thesis*: Present your research in 3 minutes. Cash*
   prizes for the best presentations! Stay tuned for more details.
