TRIUMF Summer Institute (TSI2017): Application deadline March 1st, 2017:
Dear colleagues,

The application deadline for the upcoming 27th TRIUMF Summer Institute
(TSI 2017) is approaching: March 1st, 2017.
Interested graduate students and young researchers can apply here:
http://tsi.triumf.ca/2017/application.html

As part of the application process, a letter of reference is required for
some participants. This letter should not be older than 6 months and must
be from the present supervisor under which the student/ postdoc is
working. Note that we do not require letters of reference for applicants
from JINA-CEE institutions, Canadian Universities, and TRIUMF (but please
provide the contact details of your supervisor for inquiries).

Successful applicants will be informed by March 15, 2017 and can proceed
to the full registration.
For students from countries that require invitation letters for a visa
application, please note that we cannot issue anything unless you have
paid the full accommodation fee.

The TSI2017 will be held from July 24th to August 4th, 2017 at TRIUMF in
Vancouver, Canada. The theme for TSI 2017 is "Modern Tools for Nuclear
Astrophysics" and will focus on the three research pillars of nuclear
astrophysics: experiments, observations, and astrophysical modelling.
