We are excited to announce the first virtual TRIUMF-UBC Pub Night! As the GSA Committee of UBC puts it:


Based on the headline of this online communication, it may have come to your attention that we are having a POSTDOC GRAD STUDENT GAPS GSA MEGA-SLAM VIRTUAL PUBNIGHT. The nature of the event is detailed below.

Here the nature of the event is detailed. During the "POSTDOC GRAD STUDENT GAPS GSA MEGA-SLAM VIRTUAL PUBNIGHT", postdoctoral fellows and graduate students from two distinct yet intertwined entities, the PHAS GSA (the social assemblage of graduate students in the physics and astronomy department) and GAPS (a similar social assemblage for postdoctoral fellows and graduate students at the local particle accelerator centre, TRIUMF) will coalesce in a glistening climax of modern-era online communication, a Zoom meeting.

This conjuncture will transpire on Friday, April 24th at 8pm. That is four days from now, because it is April 20th today. If you don't come, then I won't see you there. If do you come, well I guess I will see you there then.
