With approximately 500 million views a month, Wikipedia is one of the most frequently consulted reference resources in the world. But less than 18% of the biographies on the site belong to women. This issue became even more apparent when it was found there was no Wikipedia entry for Donna Strickland<>prior to her receiving the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2018.

The previous Wikipedia editing course sponsored by APS resulted in the creation of 20 articles, edits to 109 articles, and the addition of 567 references. You can read more about the experiences of the project in APS News<>.
