Hi all,

Based on the results of a recent survey, we are planning both an introductory machine learning study group and an advanced topics group which will meet on an alternating schedule.   If you are interested in participating in either group, please join us on Wed. Jan. 29 at 3:00 in the theory seminar room in the MOB.

Hello!

Are you interested in applying machine learning to your research or just want to learn more about machine learning?

The TRIUMF Data Science Group (consisting of TRIUMF staff, postdocs, graduate and undergraduate students) meets regularly to discuss and explore various applications of machine learning.  All are welcome to join.

As we enter the new year, we  would like to hear your thoughts on what types of topics would be of most interest to you.  Are you new to machine learning and would like to have an introductory course or study group to learn the basics?  Are you interested in learning about more advanced topics? Are you trying to apply machine learning to your research but would like to bounce ideas off of other people with experience in machine learning?
