Dear all,
these are the questions/topics I put on table to discuss in the Journal
club tomorrow April 20th.

Cheers.
Roger

*Elementary questions (think for students):*
Why is so difficult to detect neutrons? Which is the reaction mentioned in
the paper that allow the detection?

Why a constant efficiency value is needed in the design of the detector up
to few MeV energies?

*Technical question:*
Are the trigger-less systems more useful than conventional acquisition
systems for this kind of experiments?

*General quaestions:*
Are the Gross Properties, half-life and Pn of unknown nuclei clue to better
estimate the FRDM+QRPA and other models?

Are you agree with the method to determine the efficiency of the detector?
(252Cf source only provides information around 2.6MeV).

Do you think it would be interesting to couple a specific design with 3He
array at GRIFFIN? Could it be considered as a complementary system together
with DESCANT?
