Dear colleagues,

a) The new weekly nuclear physics seminar series starts Monday.
These will be on TRIUMF's main seminar list, including abstract.

If you didn't get a notice for the upcoming one (the title
was in the 'TRIUMF weekly seminars' email last Monday; the abstract
is on the TRIUMF website and will emailed same-day),
you can find it on the TRIUMF seminars page and subscribe to
the main seminars list at

http://www.triumf.ca/research-program/lectures-conferences/upcoming-seminars-lectures/about-seminars-lectures

We plan to just rely on that list, and don't plan to use the
isac-science-forum list for it. The nuclear physics seminar is
intended to replace the ISAC Science Forum along with other things.

b) The presentations to the subatomic Experimental Evaluation Committee
are public and open. It's an interesting chance to see what people are
doing from the start, and everyone is encouraged to go, especially if it
is outside your present specialty. The agenda is known to the proponents, but
tends to come out on shorter notice (Niki is sending a sitewide
announcement today sometime): this one is Friday-Saturday, and you
can find the agenda at
http://www.triumf.ca/research-program/planning-experiments/experiment-approval/call-for-submissions-agendas#SAP

thanks,
John Behr
