Yesterday was our final meetup of the year, but we will certainly be meeting up next year! I've attached the brief notes that I made regarding the material from weeks 9,10, and 11. In the notes you will find links to
a few articles from "towardsdatascience.com" and "medium.com" both are quite good sources and are probably more useful than my notes themselves.

Next year: we briefly discussed what we plan on doing in the coming year, and we decided that the best approach is to start by taking a very practical course on building machine learning systems using an established library.
Specifically, we decided that we will be taking a course given by IBM through edX using the PyTorch framework:

Deep Learning with Python and PyTorch:

(This course is free to enroll in, 6 weeks long and each week is estimated at 2-4h of work)

Our goal is to start with this course and learn how to use PyTorch, then do some sort of project afterwards to hone our skills.
Hopefully we will have some sort of physics related project, but that is still in the works. (If you have a physics-related project in mind, let me know!)
