[Mathematica] Mathematica 7

Mathematica 7 is now available.


Linux

If you installed ScientificLinux 4 or 5 from a triumf kickstart and 
therefore have /triumfcs/linux available with either /triumfcs/linux/bin 
or /opt/triumfcs/bin in your PATH, then start Matematica-7 with:

    mathematica7

Otherwise, use: /triumfcs/linux/bin/mathematica7

At some point we will make mathematica-7 the default so that the "7" can 
be dropped.


Windows

If you login to the TRWIN domain, run "setup.exe" from:

"\\trwindata\apps\SIS\Windows Programs\Mathematica 7"

If you don't use TRWIN, you can download setup.exe from:

http://mirror.triumf.ca/mathematica/7.0/Windows/setup.exe


Mac

Download the Mac disk-image from:

http://mirror.triumf.ca/mathematica/7.0/Mac/Mathematica-7.dmg

Unless you have manually disabled auto-mounting, this will mount the 
disk-image and open a window.  Copy the application to your Applications 
folder or wherever else you choose.  You can then "eject" the disk-image 
and delete Mathematica-7.dmg .

License Server

When prompted for license information, select "Network License".
The Mathematica license-server is:

    mathematica.math.ubc.ca
