Mathematica 8.0.1 is now the default version of mathematica for those
that use it on Linux via /triumfcs/linux . Older versions are still
available.

If you install Mathematica locally on Windows, Linux or Mac you can
upgrade to Mathematica-8.0.1 by following the instructions at

http://it-services.triumf.ca/software/scientific-computing/software/data-analysis-visualization/mathematica

As always, remember that the licenses are shared among all Mathematica
users at TRIUMF. When you launch Mathematica, it keeps a connection open
to the license server and reserves a license. Therefore, please close
Mathematica when you are not using it to ensure that the license
reservation is released.

New features in Mathematica-8 are described at
http://www.wolfram.com/mathematica/
