Preparing your faculty application workshop

Dear grad students and postdocs,

We will host a practical and interactive 1h workshop on applying for a 
faculty position. Dr. Michael Gold 
<http://www.microbiology.ubc.ca/research/labs/gold> will guide you 
through the process, from preparing a stand-out application to 
negotiating your dream start-up package.  He is a professor in and head 
of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at UBC.  In his 
capacity as department head, he has hired six faculty members, and he 
will use these experiences to provide insight into the selection, 
interview, and hiring processes.  Take advantage of this rare workshop 
on *Wednesday April 22nd at noon in the Auditorium*.

There will be a *pub night **Friday *(24th) 18:30 at Biercraft.
