Hello all,
This Thursday, GAPS and IsoSIM will be jointly hosting a lunch-time
workshop on gender bias in science, led by Professor Sheryl Staub-French of
the UBC department of civil engineering (web page
<>). She will give a
presentation, and immediately following she will be available for a group
discussion open to students and postdocs who have questions they would like
to raise in a more informal setting. Please indicate in the doodle poll if
you would be interested in attending the discussion (sign-up not necessary
to attend). This is an excellent forum to bring up any issues or questions
you might have concerning gender bias and diversity at TRIUMF.
