Dear Colleagues,



we would like to announce several postdoc positions in theoretical particle
and astro-particle physics at the Max-Planck-Institut fuer Kernphysik in
Heidelberg. The theoretical group has a wide range of interests in several
areas of physics beyond the SM, model building, dark matter, neutrinos,
electroweak symmetry breaking, the physics of the early Universe, etc.
Close contacts exist with the experimental groups at the institute and also
with Heidelberg University. The group consists of members of the division
``Particle and Astroparticle Physics'' including E. Akhmedov, F. Goertz, M.
Lindner, W. Rodejohann, A.Y. Smirnov and about twenty postdocs and
students.



The newly established research group 'New Physics, Electroweak Symmetry
Breaking, and Flavor’ of F. Goertz will extend the activities in physics
beyond the SM, Higgs physics and electroweak symmetry breaking, effective
field theories, flavor physics, as well as model building. A position
available in that group could start any time in 2017. Candidates are free
to contact fgoertz at mpi-hd.mpg.de.
