Dear all,

The second workshop in the IsoSiM Entrepreneurship workshop series will
take place on Tuesday, March 28th, 2017, 9am - 12pm in the TRIUMF’s
Auditorium. The facilitator will be again Blair Simmonite, Director of the
Entrepreneurship program at UBC and lecturer in Entrepreneurship and
Innovation at the Sauder School of Business, UBC. Blair has more than 30
years of experience in the technology industry, spanning startups to
multi-nationals, see his bio attached.

Workshop:
Building a startup venture is a more scientific process than most people
think. This Startup Basics workshop gives you hands-on experience creating
business model hypotheses that are the foundational starting point for any
new venture. Bring an idea for a venture with you - you will work on it
during the workshop.
A guest speaker, Dale Tiessen, GE Healthcare & Sauder School of Business,
will give a short talk on his personal experience during the workshop.
