Subject: REMINDER – APPLY NOW re. KEK-TRIUMF Exchange Program for Early Career Researchers
Dear Colleagues --
A reminder that applications are now being accepted for the new KEK-TRIUMF Exchange Program for Early Career Researchers (EPECR). The deadline for the first intake of applications for this exciting new program is Monday, November 19th at 5:00 PM PT.
The KEK-TRIUMF EPECR is a researcher and student exchange program that promotes the development of up and coming researchers who will play a key role in accelerator science and its related fields. This program provides early career researchers affiliated with either TRIUMF or KEK with the opportunity of performing research activities at the other institute, enriching both the Japanese and Canadian science and innovation landscapes.
The benefits of participating in an exchange between TRIUMF and KEK include:
• Continuing to advance your research horizons while collaborating with foreign colleagues and gaining international experience at another world-leading centre
• Playing a role in facilitating collaboration and partnership between KEK and TRIUMF
• Enriching your continuous learning with opportunities to understand an array of different cultural and community perspectives
Please see the TRIUMF EPECR webpage for more information on the program and how to apply, https://www.triumf.ca/node/26058
If this exchange opportunity is of interest, I encourage you to apply!
