Ahoy there, PSD Member! Happiest of Fridays to you!

This is a friendly reminder to please join us this afternoon for the PSD BBQ Mixer! The Division Updates will take place in the Auditorium at 2:30pm. The BBQ will follow outside!

This month’s agenda is as follows:

•            Jens Dilling – Division Updates (25 minutes);
•            Q&A with Jens (10 minutes);
•            BBQ’d Hot Dogs and YES Fellow Poster Boards

Thank you to those of you who filled out the Microsoft form. You greatly assisted us with our planning! Our grilling team is getting stoked to serve up regular and veggie/vegan hot dogs with classic fixings, yummy chips, and pop!

We are also pleased to present poster boards from our YES Fellows for your viewing. The Young Engineers and Scientists (YES!) Fellowship program<https://www.triumf.ca/academic-programs/awards-fellowships/yes-fellowship> offers six-week summer research experiences to graduating secondary students in British Columbia entering their first year at a recognized post-secondary institution. The fellowships are located at TRIUMF or at research organizations associated with Life Sciences British Columbia. Come check out their work, and maybe consider if being a supervisor for these highly talented students would be a good fit for you next year!

We could really use some more volunteers – please let me know as soon as possible if you would be able to assist with shopping, prepping, and/or grilling.
