Subject: Postdoctoral Position in the NSCL Charge-Exchange Group

Dear All,

I would very much appreciate if you could point potential candidates for a postdoctoral position to the following opportunity in the charge-exchange group at NSCL or have them contact me if they have any questions.

The National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory (NSCL)<https://www.nscl.msu.edu.> invites applications from candidates for a Postdoctoral Researcher position in the area of experimental nuclear science, focused on nuclear structure and astrophysics studies in the charge-exchange reaction group led by Remco Zegers. This is a particularly exciting time to join the group, as we are developing new types of experiments to probe spin-isospin excitations in rare isotopes, with a strong focus on astrophysical applications. In particular, the group is preparing for a (d,2He) experiment in inverse kinematics with the NSCL Active-Target Time-Projection Chamber and the S800 Spectrograph for which the successful candidate will play a leading role. We strongly encourage interested candidates with a wide variety of backgrounds to apply and hopefully join us in this endeavor. Details of the position, including instructions for applying, can be found at:
https://www.nscl.msu.edu/about/employment/RA-charge%20exchange.html

With many thanks and best of wishes,

Remco
