Dear GAPS Members,

The second journal club meeting will take place tomorrow at 3:30pm via BlueJeans. Please follow the link below to access the meeting:

https://bluejeans.com/237851281

Jonas Raafsgard will be presenting this week on the attached paper titles "Exotic decay channels are not the cause of the neutron lifetime anomaly"

Hi questions are as follows:

  1. What is the beta decay asymmetry?
  2. What is neutron/mirror-neutron oscillations?
  3. What is the meaning of the Ft value for super-allowed transitions?
  4. What is the meaning of the scaling factor S?
  5. If the explanation for the lifetime anomaly was a dark decay branch, around what mass would we expect the dark particle to be?

Usually we try to release the paper and questions with more time before the meeting to review them, but easter weekend interfered with that this time.

Please find time to read the paper and consider the questions before joining us.

Thanks,
GAPS
