TRU Virtual Physics Conference opportunity

The TRU-Virtual Physics Conference that we wrote you about several weeks ago is happening! Some more details from the organizing committee follow:


This is a call for abstracts for the TRU-Virtual Physics Conference! The conference is a grassroots effort to provide graduate students and professional physicists with a chance to meet, share and discuss their work in a welcoming, virtual environment.

The conference aims to attract researchers and graduate students from western Canada and around the world from all areas of physics. While this is a conference, there is very little overhead (no overhead luggage, no overhead expenses, no hotel…), and we hope the experience will be interesting, novel, and positive!

Conference Date: May 20, 2020
Abstract selection: begins May 1, 2020
N.B. Due to the limited number of talks available for this one-day event, abstracts submitted after May 1st, 2020 will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.
