very lucky to have Michelle Lollie, physics grad student in Quantum Photonics at Louisiana State University and member of the APS-IDEA Steering Committee, calling in to answer all the EDI questions you've been wanting to ask but don't know how.</div>

questions that we know are touchy, but we can't easily answer. I'm thinking things like "What's wrong with asking a racialized person where they are from?" or "Why do we need EDI statements?"
