Title:     Building Web-based Software Applications

Abstract: In many ways the Web is now functioning as an alternative to the
computer desktop, with many traditional software applications being
replaced by the browser.  The ease with which the web can be
integrated with databases, e-mail, and other standard software tools
makes it easier than ever to build and maintain custom management and
productivity software for your project or organization.  Morgan Burke
will review his experiences in developing custom web applications in
the small to medium-sized business and research sector, and describe
the web application development approach used by his software company,
Exware Solutions.
