Title: Ultraprecise measurement of the electronic g-factor in hydrogen-like oxygen.

Abstract: We present an experimental value for the g-factor of the electron bound in hydrogen-like oxygen g_{exp}=2.000 047 025 (5). The experiment was performed with a single hydrogen-like oxygen ion stored in a Penning trap. The measurement agrees within 1.5 sigma with the predicted theoretical value: g_{the}=2.000 047 020 2 (6). It represents a very stringent test of the bound-state Quantum Electrodynamics to a 1% level. Additionally and assuming the validity of the theory a new value for the electron mass is obtained: m_e=0.000 548 579 909 8(4). This value is three times more precise than the current accepted one.

Stimulants available 15 minutes before the talk.
