Title: High-Precision Lattice QCD Confronts Experiment

Abstract: Recent developments suggest that lattice QCD is now capable of few-percent determinations of a variety of important nonperturbative quantities. In particular, accurate results from unquenched lattice QCD are becoming routine. The main bottleneck slowing lattice results now is the need to do higher-order calculations in (lattice) perturbative QCD. This talk will review the recent breakthroughs in lattice QCD, including high-precision tests against experiment, and the essential role of perturbative matching calculations in future progress will be described.

Stimulants available 15 minutes before the talk.
