Title: The FAMILON experiment. Theoretical motivations, conception and simulation

Abstract: The experiment is based on the hypothesis of the existence of familon elementary particles which are responsible for the breaking of horizontal symmetry of the lepton family. The existence of such particles must result in neutrinoless decays of leptons. The search for the decay of muon into positron and familon is prepared at LNP JINR phasotron. The FAMILON set-up is installed at the beam of surface muons; methodical runs had been carried out. The theoretical motivations and set-up of FAMILON experiment are described and the results of Monte-Carlo simulation of positron registration by the magnetic spectrometer are presented.

Stimulants available 15 minutes before the talk.
