Title: New Neutrino Oscillation Results from the MINOS Experiment

Abstract: The MINOS long-baseline neutrino oscillation experiment finished construction in 2005 and has taken it's first year of data. The NuMI neutrino beam is created at Fermilab, and is measured by two detectors, the first 1 km away, the second over 700 km away at the Soudan mine in northern Minnesota. MINOS has recently completed data taking for the first 1e20 protons and target. I will describe this experiment in detail, and present the preliminary results of the numu disappearance measurement.
