Title: Post Asymptotic Giant Branch evolution in low mass stars and planetary nebulae.

Abstract: After the end of the Asymptotic Giant Branch (AGB) phase, low mass stars evolve and eventually become white dwarfs. During such evolution, the remnant star can become hot enough to ionize and make visible the planetary nebula (PN), that was ejected at the end of the previous AGB phase. I will discuss recent spectroscopic measurements in PNe, comparing them with stellar model predictions.
