Title:     Weak reactions in few nucleon systems: p-p and muon capture

Abstract: The p-p fusion capture plays an important role in astrophysics. For this reason it is important to develop accurate models for the nuclear weak transition operator. I will discuss some new results obtained using a model based on the pionfull chiral effective field theory approach, for both p-p fusion and muon capture reactions on deuterons and 3He.
Muon capture rates can be accurately determined experimentally, and therefore provide important tests for the theory.

with respect to the usual time due to theory workshop
