Title:     Searching for ultra-light hidden photons

Abstract: New fields with macroscopic wavelength and very weak couplings to the Standard Model present a somewhat under-explored frontier in the search for Beyond the Standard Model physics. I will discuss recent progress in understanding how to detect such fields, and describe some experiments with both physicist-pleasing discovery potential and funding-agency-pleasing costs.
