Abstract: "Design, simulations and preliminary results of the online irradiation of a new proton-to-neutron converter target at ISOLDE-CERN"
 
Abstract: "Proton-to-neutron converter targets have been used for the past 30 years at ISOLDE for the online production of neutron-rich fission fragments. Last November, a new version of the ISOLDE proton-to-neutron converter target was tested online after a detailed thermal design phase and careful offline characterization of the assembly. In this contribution the main design guidelines are presented and the results of the offline studies are shown. Moreover, some preliminary results of the online measurements will also be presented analyzed together with some initial conclusions. Finally, some comparison will be made with the current proton-to-neutron converter target being developed at TRIUMF."
