You might be interested in a short (no, really) survey on using video.
The Megaconference list is mostly H323 users on Internet2 (the US
research network), so the survey results may drive improvements in the
infrastructure that we use at ES.net etc.
FYI, we use Polycom video conferencing, and EVO ("other").
We don't run a Web conferencing server, but you may have experienced e.g.
Webex in commercial online webinars etc. (VNC may count as "full
application sharing" per Bob's definition)

Please fill out the this survey about web conferencing and video
conferencing. It will help guide the development of these tools.
Please use these definitions:
Videoconferencing: video and audio communications are primary and
prioritized, with limited screen and/or content sharing. Vendors
(alphabetically) include LifeSize, Polycom, Tandberg, Vidyo, etc.
Webconferencing: screen and/or content sharing are primary, including
full application sharing, and features like voting/polling, chat,
whiteboard, etc. Audio is important, but sometimes not included (at
high quality). Video is optional and is lowest priority and at low
quality. Vendors include AdobeConnect, Citrix GoToMeeting, MicroSoft
LiveMeeting, WebEx.
