[TRIUMF-Experimental-program] CNSC Approval for the Actinide Target Tests

Dear TRIUMF Users and Experimenters,

*TRIUMF has just received approval from the Canadian Nuclear Safety 
Commission to proceed with a series of low intensity tests of an 
actinide production target at its rare isotope facility, ISAC. These 
tests will be carried out during the next 30 days. They will establish 
the levels of production of rare isotopes, especially very neutron rich 
ones, which are of great interest to the nuclear physics community 
worldwide and will provide operational experience in handling such 
targets at ISAC.
