Dear Colleagues,
Schedule 119b is now final and available on the web at
https://mis.triumf.ca/science/schedules.jsf
The schedule runs from June 1 to September 22. We will have beams from
the cyclotron to BL2C and BL2A from June 1 to September 19, for BL1A
from August 10 to September 19, and the last week is a low intensity
running period, with continued operation of ISAC and PIF (at BL1C). This
is due to anticipated shutdown activities. The mini shutdown will be
from September 20-22, and proton beam will be available Friday,
September 23. However, the ISAC shutdown will continue due to target
hall activities.
For ISAC, Schedules 119 (a) and (b) we had a total of 38 beam requests
for RIB and OLIS beams. We were able to schedule 29 experiments or tests
in the available time, with 16 extra shifts to be scheduled in the
UCx-period in September. Out of the requests we had 12 with High
Priority (10 scheduled), 16 with Medium High (8 scheduled + 1
replacement + 1development), and 5 Medium (3 scheduled + 1 development).
In addition betaNMR experiments are scheduled. Overall we provided 19%
of the available experimental beam time to beam development.
Due to some conflicts in the June schedule in 119 (b) changes in 119 (a)
were made.
Best regards,
Niki Martin
