Draft Beam Schedule 124 & final meeting

Dear TRIUMF Users, Experimenters, Operators and Staff,

The draft beam Schedule 124, for the beam period of March 21st to 
September 4th is now available online at 
https://mis.triumf.ca/science/schedules.jsf (under "Drafts")(a 
mini-shutdown starts September 5th).

The ISAC schedule was organized by me and the muSR schedule was 
organized and put together by Iain McKenzie.

The final schedule meeting will be held Wednesday, February 27th at 
13:00 in the auditorium. The meeting will be chaired by Colin Morton. We 
invite all interested parties to attend this meeting.

We were able to accommodate most requests, and provided significant time 
for beam development, both for the cyclotron as well as for ISAC beam 
(new target material, RFQ laser ion source development, and accelerator 
development for post-acceleration to ISAC II).

As indicated earlier, we are currently not delivering beam to M11 and 
M13 due to the UCN installation. Delivery to M9 is in the present 
schedule not possible because of a Target2 seal vacuum leak and we are 
actively preparing a solution for this. Due to this the start up of BL1A 
has been delayed and beam delivery will start May 28 2013.

Due to unforeseen ISAC II accelerator (SSC3) maintenance, we are not 
able to deliver beam to ISAC II prior to May 9.
