The successful candidate is expected to support an upcoming CFI application devoted to building a future for Canadian neutron scattering centered on activities at the University of Windsor and to independently obtain external funding to support a research program. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. programs by teaching within the full range of undergraduate and graduate physics courses, supervising graduate and undergraduate research projects, and contributing significantly to outreach and undergraduate/graduate recruitment efforts.

The successful candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Physics, supported by postdoctoral experience. A track record of peer-reviewed publications in the proposed area of research and a strong commitment to growth in teaching expertise are essential. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Preference will be given to a candidate working in an area of experimental physics that supports and demonstrate synergies with the research strengths of the Department and other researchers in the Faculty of Science, particularly in neutron physics. A demonstrated ability to apply for and/or secure external funding to support research activities will be considered an asset.
