NP-EEC Meeting Announcement - June 2022

[TRIUMF Physical Sciences]

Dear TRIUMF Users, Experimenters, and Staff,

We hereby notify that TRIUMF will hold a meeting of the NP-EEC on June 20th-21st 2022. Submissions that will be accepted are:


  1.  Progress Reports for H-priority proposals that will expire at the June 2022 meeting (proponents will be contacted directly). These experiments must request that their unused expired shifts be reinstated if they wish to continue.
  2.  New regular Letters of Intent (where beam or facility development is required; no shifts are requested).
  3.  Existing Letters of Intent that have had beam developed and wish to upgrade to a Full Proposal.
  4.  New Proposals.

It is currently intended that the meeting will be in-person, held in the TRIUMF Auditorium.

NEW: A Notice of Intent to Submit Proposals is due on Monday, April 18th. Spokespersons of new proposals or letters of intent must contact Allayne McGowan (sciencediv at triumf.ca<mailto:sciencediv at triumf.ca>) to request an experiment number and fill out the experiment form fields (experimental facility, isotopes, intensities, target & ion source required, etc.) by that date.

We will not accept proposals who have not submitted their notice of intent and filled out the form fields by April 18th.

The deadline for submission of the full text of the Proposals, Progress Reports, Letters of Intent, etc., is Monday, May 2nd at 23:59 PST. Submissions should be made through the Science Applications Portal: https://mis.triumf.ca/science/index.jsf.
