Postdoctoral Research Fellow position in experimental nuclear physics at TRIUMF, Canada

TRIUMF is inviting applications for post doctoral research fellow position for the IRIS Reaction Spectroscopy Facility for experiments with re-accelerated rare isotope beams.

BASIC FUNCTION
 To perform and support scientific research and experiments at the IRIS Reaction Spectroscopy Facility at TRIUMF. The experiments are focused on direct nuclear reactions of rare isotopes with reaccelerated beams. The IRIS facility utilizes novel thin solid hydrogen and deuterium targets, for studying transfer reactions and inelastic scattering of exotic nuclei. The postdoc will be actively encouraged to pursue their own research and development ideas for IRIS experiments.
