*ERC Starting & Synergy Grant 2026 calls open now*

The *ERC Starting* and *Synergy Grant* calls opened last week and will 
close in October and November, respectively. Apply for funding to start 
your lab in Europe or tackle an ambitious research project as part of an 
international consortium. The ERC's grants operate on a 
"bottom-up" basis without predetermined priorities.
