Dear colleagues,

We are opening a postdoctoral position in my group at Astrocent, Poland.

Project focus: The successful candidate will join the Medical Physics
and Radiation Detectors group led by Prof. Masayuki Wada. The research
involves developing a next-generation PET scanner using xenon-doped
liquid argon (Xe-LAr) with cryogenic silicon photomultipliers (SiPMs)
and digital readout. The position also includes participation in the
DarkSide-20k experiment and R&D projects on precise calibration for
low-energy nuclear recoils in liquid argon detectors.

Key details:
Application deadline: 23 March 2026
Remuneration: 9,361 PLN gross/month (~7,925 PLN net/month, approx. 1,877 EUR)
Possible start date: 01 April 2026
Duration: Initial term of 2 years, with possible renewal
Location: Warsaw, Poland (may involve travel to LNGS, Italy or CERN)
