Dear Colleagues,

If you'll be attending AAPM in Austin next week, I hope you can stop by
the get-together of the Geant4 North American Medical Users Group (G4NAMU).

As in past years, the Sunday evening has been the only time that we can
find in the busy schedule.
I apologize in advance to any who will be arriving too late for the
get-together.
Please note that arriving a late is still perfectly fine.

When: Sunday, July 20th, 6-8:30 PM.

Where: Austin Hilton (the AAPM Headquarters hotel across the street from
the Convention Center).
Salon F.

Please RSVP if you can, so I can calculate the right amount of refreshments,
but still feel free to attend whether you've remembered to RSVP or not.
And please feel free to bring any colleagues interested in Geant4.

In your RSVP, please give me the following information to put on
pre-made name tags.
These will enable people to find others with similar interests during
the social part of our meeting:
1) Name
2) Institution
3) Area of interest (something short that fits on a name tag, such as:
PET, pCT, Linac/MRI, Proton Therapy, 4D MC, LDR Brachytherapy, etc.
There are no specific rules here)

Agenda:

Moving to Geant4.10, Multi-Threaded Simulation - Joseph Perl (15 Minutes)

Open the floor to any other discussion: - All (10-20 Minutes)

Break into Smaller Discussions over Refreshments.
Stick around a while. Get acquainted. Network. Find out who shares your
interests, issues. Etc. Etc.
Just please don't run off too fast.
This is the most important part of the G4NAMU meeting.
It is why we time the G4NAMU event for the beginning of the AAPM week.
We want you to meet each other and to start private discussions here
that you will continue throughout the week.

See you in Austin,

Joseph
