Two Fun Friday Events Coming Up

Hi GAPSers!

We have two events coming up the next two Fridays!

Friday August 8th 6pm-sunset:

August Beach Hang! The weather is still sunny, so come join us at Jericho Beach for snacks, soft drinks and any other beverages you want to bring for yourself (no glass bottles). Relax on (or near) the beach with all your GAPS friends and guests 🙂 (no RSVP required)

Friday August 15th  6-8pm:

Dust off your dancing shoes – you are cordially invited to GAPS ceilidh night!

Ceilidh (pronounced kay-lee) is a style of dance in both Ireland and Scotland done in large groups, and is popular in pubs and at weddings, so is designed to be fun and easy for beginners! Two of our GAPS members will be leading events – Aveen will teach some dances in the Irish style, and Emily in the Scottish style, all to energetic folk music. Wear anything you can comfortably move in, no kilt required.

We will be dancing at the Dunbar Community Centre (4747 Dunbar St). Please RSVP at the form below. This style of dance is much better in a group, so bring your friends!
