REGISTRATION OPEN: new TRIUMF "Shelley Page Graduate Fellowship" for Member University doctoral students

TRIUMF is delighted to announce that applications are now being accepted<https://www.triumf.ca/academic-programs/awards-fellowships/page-fellowship> our new graduate fellowship program for doctoral students who identify as women at our Member Universities .  The Shelley Page Graduate Fellowship supports and advances women and those identifying as women  who are building their careers as doctoral students in any field (physics, chemistry, engineering, etc) associated with TRIUMF's research program.  The Fellowship is intended to help these students develop their professional networks to support their transition to post-doctoral and other academic careers.

The application deadline is (currently) Sunday March 16 at 11:59pm PST

The Fellowship seeks students not only with outstanding graduate records, but also with demonstrated leadership, collaborative spirit, creativity, and other attributes that will set them apart as future researchers.

The Page Fellowship will be held by a doctoral student attending one of TRIUMF’s Member Universities<https://www.triumf.ca/home/about-triumf/partners/university-owners>, for a period of up to 4 years, or until graduation, whichever comes first.  The Fellow is expected to be resident at TRIUMF for most of each year of the Fellowship.  The Fellowship will be held by one student at a time, with each subsequent Fellowship awarded just prior to the active holder graduating.

In keeping with TRIUMF's Strategic and EDI plans, and our commitment to the BC Human Rights Commissioner's Office, the Page Fellowship is being offered to women and persons identifying as women.
