Lunch Meeting with Dr. Eden Hennessey (TRIUMF Demographics/EDI Survey)

Hi GAPS Community!

Dr. Eden Hennessey, the Research & Programs Director at the Laurier Centre for Women in Science, and Lead Researcher for the TRIUMF Demographics/EDI Survey, will be at TRIUMF on March 26th and 27th. On the 26th, she will present the survey results at the All-Hands meeting. On March 27th, she will be meeting with various members of the TRIUMF community. GAPS and the ECS-EDI have partnered to secure a lunchtime meeting with Dr. Hennessey to discuss the survey results, ask questions, and provide feedback.

GAPS and the ECS-EDI would like to invite you to attend this meeting on Thursday, March 27th from 12:00 – 13:00. If you would like to attend this meeting to ask Dr. Hennessey questions and discuss the survey results, please complete this (very brief) form: https://forms.office.com/r/sVKA0ZdEfk
Completing the form does not guarantee you a spot at the meeting. We will be accepting GAPS members on a first come first serve basis, while also taking into account the diversity of TRIUMF Divisions and GAPS career levels. The meeting attendees will be Dr. Hennessey, the TRIUMF Ombudsperson (Grace Wong Sneddon), Ben Davis-Purcell (ECS-EDI Chair and GAPS VC EDI), and up to 9 of you. The form will be open until Friday, March 21st at noon. At that time, emails will be sent out to confirm attendance.

The ECS-EDI will also be hosting an event later in the spring to discuss the survey results and potential next steps.
