Hi GAPS Community!

Happy Pride Month!

For the 3rd year in a row, TRIUMF has a team for the Vancouver Pride Run! This is a timed official run (10k or 5k) or walk (5k) around the Stanley Park seawall, but moreso a fun way to get in a bit of activity with your friends to celebrate Pride. For more information, check out the website: https://raceroster.com/events/2026/112595/vancouver-pride-run-and-walk-2026. The event takes place on Sunday, July 26th starting at 8am at Stanley Park.

GAPS has sponsored the event, providing a $25 registration discount code to the first 20 GAPS members who sign up and join the team! Only 7 spots remain, so let us know sooner rather than later if you want to join, and we will provide the registration instructions. The TRIUMF Education team has also sponsored the event, providing the same $25 discount to the first 20 undergraduates who register, so encourage the undergrads in your group to join as well! They can also directly contact GAPS (gaps at triumf.ca) for registration instructions.
